Just a note about getting into the flow of making things. I rarely know exactly what I am going to make, but surround myself with everything I love: stacks of colorful fabrics, scraps too, paint, paper, pencils, pens, my computer, music, all of it in a 10 x 12 foot space--everything is close by so when I am
READY TO CRAFT something is
bound to happen. I've been home sick for a few days now, and I always feel a little lucky when this happens. Crafting keeps my mind off feeling cruddy, and by the time today was through I'd painted three little paintings on paper, and worked out four mini-fabric toys that I am pretty excited about. It turns out that TEENY toys are even more fun, and easier to make, that an average sized toy. You can make them all with hand stitching, and you hardly need any stuffing for filler. Each little toy took 1-2 hours to make. So all in all-not a bad day to be home sick. Tomorrow I gotta get out of the house. Then back to
crafting !

It's 4 am and I'm up with a sniffly nose, and I can't resist putting a final touch in this guy's face. I found the world's cutest tiniest button, which I used for the nose. It's green and measures about
1/8" in diameter.
